
LDV G10+ Has Arrived At LDV Parramatta | G10+ Brief Review
The all-new LDV G10+, the most anticipated upgrade of the predecessor G10 1-tonne van has now arrived at LDV Parramatta and is ready for a test drive. The new version of the budget load-carrier gets a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine making 118kW of power and 375Nm of torque, and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission supplied by ZF, with paddles. The G10+ is an additional powerhouse tailored for practicality, adaptability, technology-driven, advanced comfort, giving our customers further options to boost their productivity.
Engine And Transmission:
The G10+ is a workhorse equipped with the new 2.0, the same engine used in the LDV T60 Trailrider pickup. Both engines have been developed by ZF in Germany. As well as more power and torque, it cuts the combined-cycle fuel consumption (ADR) claim from 8.6 litres per 100km to 8.2L/100km. The G10+ can additionally be ordered with the familiar 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 160kW and 330Nm. While the base G10 with this engine uses a six-speed auto, the G10+ petrol version gets the newer eight-speed auto.
A six-speed manual is also available on the diesel with all versions sending drive to the rear wheels.
Interior:
The G10+ has a revised interior, with a new rotary gear selector dial and "new material finishes". Noise, vibration and harshness levels have also been improved ensuring advanced comfort at work. More than just a powertrain upgrade, the G10+ improves on the standard G10’s cabin ambience with a rotary gear selector, paddle shifters (autos only), upgraded materials and improved NVH levels. This assures maximum comfort, safety ensuring the driver's attention is always on the road. G10+ comes with coil rear springs, full-size spare wheels, disc brakes at both ends, cruise control (auto only), a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, dual sliding side doors, a rear camera, and just the two airbags.
Cargo:
The G10+ boasts the same cargo specifications as its predecessor, the G10 cargo van. Behind the passengers is a 5.2 cubic-metre cargo area, offering a payload of 1010kg (diesel) or 1093kg (petrol), "multiple" tie-down points, two sliding side doors, load area lights, integrated side steps, and lifting tailgate at the rear (optional barn door for additional $600^). Within the load, space are multiple tie-down points on both the floor and wheel arches for maximum load stability as well as four integrated lights to aid visibility in the dark.
Pricing:
